Intro to Splitboarding Clinic: This clinic will cover all of the basics for those beginner splitboarders. We will go over: how to split your board (how to put it back together), how to apply your skins (how to store them properly), how to manage two planks under your feet, the almighty kick turn and the different methods, how to select a skin track, and anything else that might come up during the clinic. We will be back to the parking lot in time for the field session with the GNFAC.
Advanced Splitboarding Clinic: This clinic will go a little deeper than you might be used to. This clinic is for the experienced rider who wants to advance their riding to the next level. We will be introducing the rope to splitboarding in this course. We will go over: snow climbing, building anchors (trees, rocks, and most importantly snow), how to belay a partner, and anything else that might come up during the clinic. Expect a full day out for this clinic, and we will definitely get some fun riding in (bring fresh legs).
MAP Brewing: 510 Manley Rd. (Google Maps). MAP Brewing has been home base for the Bozeman Splitfest since year 1. We love this place and they love us… please always be respectful of the building and staff, the Bozeman Splitfest wouldn’t be the event that it is without MAP. Now for what to expect at MAP: We will have the back patio going with heaters, a traveling s’mores bar (thanks Pallas), sponsor tents with demos, and plenty of shop talk. There will be live music both Friday and Saturday night and the best beers in Bozeman will be flowing. For those of you who have not pre-registered (do so here) we will be selling pint glasses, t-shirts, raffle tickets, and beer combos. You can buy all 4 individually or you can get them together for a little discount on all of them.
